Bob Cleaver and Donna Eldridge began Cleaver Design Associates in 1996 with the intent of quality landscape design.  Because we are a small firm, we have direct relationships with our clients and their project.  We have broad design and technical expertise.  We provide creative garden concepts, submittals for agency reviews, construction documents, and management services including cost estimating for installation work.

Cleaver Design Associates collaborates with many architects and designers throughout the Bay Area.  We thrive on interactions with other designers as the project develops.  Our computer knowledge allows easy coordination between consultants.

Bob holds a BS degree in Landscape Architecture from Rutgers University in New Jersey.  In California since 1979, he has worked in several landscape architectural offices in the SF Bay Area.  Bob concentrates on site planning and design, detailed bid documents, and project coordination.  He is currently using the computer to model existing conditions and design concepts as a visualization tool.  Bob is a member of the Design Review Commission for the city of Lafayette, CA.

Donna Eldridge has a BS in Plant Science from the University of New Hampshire and holds a MA in Landscape Design from the Conway School of Landscape Design in Massachusetts.  Donna has focused on project coordination and client-project management.
